in Curitiba. Studied composition in
Brazil with José Penalva and Hans
Joachim Koellreuter, and in germany with
D.Schnebel and W. Szalonek; Indian
singing (Drupad) with A.Cuni in Berlin.
Graduated in acoustic guitar at Escola de
Música e BelasArtes do Paraná, where he
teached , in Medicine at UFPR and
compositions and musical theory at HdK,
Berlin, where he teached. Arranger,
composer and performer of popular and
experimental music in Brazil and
Germanyl. Since 1987 living in Germany ,
where he lives as a composer and
performer. Participa regularmente de
festivais de música contemporanea e de
música improvisada. Projects with other
musicians in several areas like
minimalist Rock , the multimidia artist
A.Dreyblatt e a "Orchestra of
Excited Strings", Teatro Musical,
with D. Schnebel, Música Brasileira

Conductor, composer and
arranger. Born in Rio de Janeiro. Creator
of the vocal group "Garganta
Profunda" ( Deep Throat ). Creator
of the Cultura Inglesa Choir , afterwards
Cobra Coral, which recorded with Caetano
Veloso in the LP Cores Nomes, won the
prize"Melhor Trabalho de Pesquisa a
Criatividade" at MPB Shell da Globo
de 81, the prize "Renovação do
Comportamento Coral" no at the
Concurso Nacional de Corais da Funarte e
JB in 82, among others. . Criou e dirige
há 5 anos o Vocal Brasileirão, corpo
artístico do Conserva- tório de MPB de
Curitiba, onde é professor desde sua
criação em 1993. created and conducted
the Orquestra de Vozes Meninos do Rio, a
1200 voices children choir ,with
orchestra , who played for the first time
for the pope João Paulo II in Rio de
Janeiro in 1998. Work as a professor in
Festivals in Brazil and abroad, as a
conductor, teaching vocal arrangement
among others. Music for theater, one
shoul mention the samba rereading from
Bisset's Opera Carmen , together with
Augusto Boal and Celso Branco in 1999
where he pérformed as a conductor and as
a musical director.

Born in São Paulo. Choir

at Faculdade da Cidade, no Curso de
Formação de Atores. Performance in the
samba version of the opera Carmen, from
Bizet, created by Augusto Boal, Marcos
Leite and Celso Branco. Shows as a
soloist in Rio de Janeiro, Campos e
Curitiba. Sang at Teatro Municipal de
São Paulo ( Coral Paulistano ). Em São
Paulo performances as an arranger,
conductor and soloist with the choirs
Luther King and Canto Multiplicado.

scriptwriter. Paralelamente, mantem as
atividades de diretor cênico de grupos
musicais e ministrante dos cursos :
"Expressão corporal para
Cantores" e "A Canção",
uma oficina de letras para a MPB, baseada
nas estruturas clássicas do gênero.
Como letrista, adaptação da ópera
"CARMEN" em parceria com o
diretor Augusto Boal e o maestro Marcos
Leite, para a linguagem da música
popular brasileira encenada, a
"sambÓpera", e também a
composição das 17 letras para as
canções populares criadas por Marcos
Leite para o seu Método de Canto Popular
Brasileiro. |
